Records describing the administration, projects, research, and funding of a federally funded organization whose purpose was to coordinate communication and cooperation between existing educational agencies in North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. UMREL's primary focus was teacher preparation and experimental curriculum for the K-12 classroom.
